The Cabo Frio Surf Club (CSC) was founded on July 21, 2009, by Mr. Reginaldo Nascimento (Dado). The civil entity's main objective is to promote and develop surfing in the city of Cabo Frio and throughout the Lagos Region. Since its inception, the club has been involved in the production and promotion of events and competitions, being responsible for the municipal circuit, aiming to foster the sport and discover new talents in the region. CSC has an active participation in the institutional sports scene, integrating the Municipal Sports Council (CONESP) of Cabo Frio. This presence strengthens the representation of surfing, ensuring that the sport has a voice in decisions regarding public policies for sports in the city. We work in partnership with the Surf Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro (FESERJ) and receive support from several local companies. Through our actions, we aim to develop the sport, support local athletes, and promote surfing as a strategic sport for tourism and sociocultural development in the city.
